How soon can you start, and how long will my project take?
We’re usually booked 2–3 months out, but last-minute spots sometimes open up. If timing matters, it’s worth reaching out. Bathrooms take 4–6 weeks, basements 8–10, and larger projects 12+. You’ll get a full timeline with your project.
Roughly what do your projects cost? Am I even in the right ballpark before I call?
We focus on mid- to large-scale work. Bathrooms often start around $25 K, basements from $75 K, and custom builds or additions from $300 K. Your exact figure is set during the 3D design phase and guaranteed in writing before work begins.
Do you handle smaller renovations, or only full custom builds?
Our sweet spot is full-home transformations or larger: basements, kitchens, baths, ADUs, additions, and ground-up builds. Smaller patch-and-paint tasks are better suited to a handyman service.
Is the 3D design phase included or billed separately. What happens if I don’t move forward?
Yes. Design, finish selections, and the fixed quotation are part of our Pre-Construction Agreement. If you decide not to build, you keep the drawings for a modest design fee.
What exactly locks the cost, and what could cause it to change?
After the scope and selections are approved, the contract total is locked. Only client-requested changes adjust the figure. A built-in contingency covers unforeseen site conditions, so hidden surcharges never appear.
Do you manage drawings, city permits, and inspections, or is that on me?
We do. Our team prepares drawings, submits applications, and meets inspectors on site.
You receive copies of every approval for your records.
Who will be in my home, and are they fully insured and certified?
Yes. Every craftsperson holds current Ontario credentials, full liability coverage, and WSIB Clearance.
Can we stay in the house during the work, and how disruptive will it be?
Often yes for bathrooms and basements. We install dust barriers, run negative-air filtration, and clean up daily. For whole-home remodels or structural work we recommend temporary accommodation; those dates are listed well in advance.
What protection do I have if something needs attention after you leave?
Two years on workmanship plus all manufacturer warranties. We provide a complimentary 30-day and a 6-month follow-up visit.
Do you work beyond Brantford, or only within city limits?
We serve Brant County, Paris, Ancaster, Kitchener, and West Hamilton. Projects beyond that radius are considered case by case.
How often will I get updates, and who is my point of contact day-to-day?
You have one project manager and an online dashboard that shows daily photos, milestone check-offs, and next-week plans. Expect a status call or email every Friday.
What insurance and licensing do you have?
